Outdoor Injury


This x-ray if from a person who got injured snowboarding. Studies show that snowboarding results in more injuries that any other outdoor sport/activity. It had the highest percentage of injuries requiring ER trips during 2004 and 2005.

  12. Broke my upper arm twice in the same winter while snowboarding. The second time, I just decided to go back snowboarding with my arm broken and stay relax. Worked for a few days then ended up broking it again. But I still snowboard every single weekend! haha

  21. wow dang. I suppose it results in the most injuries because it is the most accessible sport in the winter. More people are doing it, more people are doing it badly.

    However, I have never snowboarded, so I don't have too much experience on the topic.
